Zibby’s Petite Retreat in Chicago

Last month I attended five author events in just about as many days and one of the most uplifting was Zibby Owens’ Petite Retreat outside Chicago at Matchmaker Books!

I met up with a handful of friends there and met new ones, as well as writers and other publishing professionals I only knew by name until then.

Zibby herself read from her forthcoming book, which all participants received in our swag bags. It’s fabulous and probably my favorite of hers to date!
