It’s been so long since I’ve blogged and honestly I didn’t feel like I had much to say. With the pandemic keeping us at home and book projects in limbo, I had hoped to start sharing more good news in the new year.
But now I don’t have to wait!
The audiobook version of Hong Kong Noir came out last week and I’ve been listening to it every minute I get to myself (it’s not very kid-friendly, so I’ve been holding off when the kids are around).
The stories really come to life in the audiobook, thanks to actors David Shih, Eunice Wong, Celia Au, and Laura Sauriat. As I listen to them, it brings me back to the feeling I had when I first read these stories after the contributors sent them to me. The book is only available from Audible, as Audible was the one that commissioned the actors and put it all together. Each story is about 40 minutes long, so they’re perfect for a workout or while you’re cooking or driving.
If you’ve read HONG KONG NOIR or listen to it on audio, please feel free to leave a review on GoodReads or Amazon! The authors and actors would surely appreciate it and it only helps to draw more traffic to this special collection.
Have a very happy new year and may 2022 bring joy and good health all around. We certainly need it!
