Friday Photo

May 18, 2018 By Susan Blumberg-Kason Leave a Comment

My friend Annie took this photo 20 years ago when I was pregnant and still living in Hong Kong. I remember this day as clearly as one can from two decades ago. We walked to the Jewish cemetery in Happy Valley and had lunch at Dim Sum there, then walked back through Wan Chai. I think we went into the Blue House when we were looking around and someone who lived there invited us in. The thing I can’t remember is where this photo was taken!

My maternity clothes weren’t the most fashionable, but they were pretty practical. I’m wearing my then-husband’s shirt and have my favorite wicker purse I bought a year or two earlier on Queens Road East before the rattan stores were demolished and that area was redeveloped.
