Photo Friday

July 7, 2017 By Susan Blumberg-Kason Leave a Comment

Last Friday, I spent the afternoon in the West Village and Soho with my niece and her friend. We walked around, had lunch, and went to a salon so the girls could get their hair done. When I saw this block of brownstones and the beautiful blooming flowers, I thought it really depicted the West Village in the summer.

My older son was supposed to live in a dorm on this street, but instead has opted for an apartment in the East Village. I didn’t see the apartment until the day after I took this photo. But now that I’ve spent a couple days at the apartment (not staying there, but just putting together IKEA furniture), I’m completely taken with his new neighborhood and can’t wait go back to visit.

In the meantime, I have a couple more trips planned before he starts school. Stay tuned!
