It’s been a full month since I’ve been in Hong Kong. Seems like ages ago when I think about it. I came across this scaffolding on a walk around Sheung Wan and Sai Ying Pun. When I lived in Hong Kong, I simply referred to this area as Western, whether that was accurate or not. Bamboo scaffolding is a long tradition in Hong Kong construction and it’s seen all over the territory, from smaller buildings like this to skyscrapers.
