It’s hard to believe I was walking on this street just two Fridays ago. I had plans to meet a former professor for lunch and arrived in the area early, so took a tram ride and walked around a bit before our meeting time. I love seeing streets like this where the goods are in the street and everything else seems secondary. Streets like this are becoming more and more rare in Hong Kong, but places like Sheung Wan and Sai Ying Pun still retain some of the old world flavor I love so much about the city.
