Photo Friday

December 18, 2015 By Susan Blumberg-Kason Leave a Comment

Here’s another photo from my walk through Kowloon City and the area where Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Airport used to stand.

Sung Wong Toi park entrance

It’s funny how I used to walk through this park quite often in my 20s, but never stopped to appreciate it back then. I guess I was always in a hurry, either to or from the airport or work (sometimes I’d take a bus to this area and walk a half hour through side streets to my office in Ho Man Tin).

I took this photo in the Sung Wong Toi park, which houses an ancient slab from the Sung dynasty.

And I’m so glad I had the time to stop and enjoy the park a couple months ago.
