Afternoon tea at the Langham Chicago

March 15, 2015 By Susan Blumberg-Kason Leave a Comment

To celebrate the gorgeous spring weather we’re having in Chicago, my sisters-in-law and I indulged in afternoon at the Hong Kong-headquartered Langham Hotel. It was our first time for tea at the Langham and it was such a treat!

The Pavilion restaurant overlooks the Chicago River and is a small, intimate space. As a party of four, we were seated at this comfortable couch facing two oversized chairs.

The tea service included an assortment of sandwiches and salads, scones, and pastries.

And, of course, tea! I chose the vanilla rooibos and drank three pots of it.

It’s so nice to have a new option for tea in Chicago. I’ll definitely be back!

The Langham Hotel is located just north of the Chicago River at 330 North Wabash Avenue. Phone: 312.923.9988
