I’ve been proofreading the final version of GOOD CHINESE WIFE this week and am now at the part where I’m nearing the end of my San Francisco days.
When I think about the story I tell in this book, I usually focus on my time in Hong Kong. But almost half the book takes place in San Francisco, a city I thought would be the happily-ever-after I was searching for in that marriage.
