This is one of my favorite photos and one that my mom snapped in 1965 on her travels through Asia and the Middle East.

I know I’ve posted it before, but can you tell in which city this was taken?

    I was going to guess Vientiane. Why is the date written in French?

      It’s from Phnom Penh, Cambodia, where people still speak French! I was amazed by that 20+ years ago!

            Oh, I remember now.

            It’s toy… action figures are for people who grew up and don’t play with things.
