So I returned to my hometown of Evanston, Illinois today to attend a friend’s wedding. It seems like ages ago that we last met for dinner and an adventurous evening at Hong Kong’s Airport Express in Central, but it was really only one month ago.
I loved the place settings at her wedding, especially the Chinese touches.
Besides enjoying the beautiful wedding, I also had a chance to catch up with my Hong Kong friends. And wear a qipao.

Wow, that’s the nicest thing anyone could say!! I just love that movie and came across the DVD in our junk room today. Sigh.

Thank you so much! Ellen will appreciate this, because I bought this dress on the internet. It wasn’t cheap by Chinese standards, but a huge bargain for something I’d find in HK or the US. It was made in Nanjing, or so the e-shop says so.
