I just finished the manuscript of my memoir–tentatively titled BOUNDARY STREET–and am excited to launch this new website! Besides the writing clips, interviews, and photos on the site, I will update this blog frequently.
This street sign stands on the former border between British Hong Kong and mainland China, before Britain leased the New Territories from China in 1898 for 99 years (thus the 1997 Handover). I worked near Boundary Street for a couple years and passed this street when I traveled from my quiet home in the New Territories to the bustling density of Kowloon.
Lovely site! And I didn’t realize you were a tea afficionado. I love afternoon tea and really think that tradition needs to be brought back on a large scale. 🙂
I’m close enough to Chicago that I need to check out your book.
Susan,
I really enjoyed your article on bullying. And of course your book on tea. I’m so excited that you’re putting together your memoirs. Good luck with that book! I’m sure it’ll be as enjoyable as your other writing.
I’m so excited, just thinking about another book by you! Good luck and I’m sure it’ll be fabulous, like all your other projects. Can’t wait to see it and get my copy autographed. I know, I know…..I’m very impatient.
Thank you so much!! Your support means so much!
Love your new site. I hope you enjoy blogging. Great way to meet new people! : )
Thanks so much, Patricia! I really appreciate it!!!
Hello Susan,
Nice website. You’re off to a better start than I am. I never thought about asking AQC folks to stop by my site. So far, I have only two hits. I really don’t have much in the way of tech skills; so, I’m not entirely sure where to go from here. Take a look at mine if you have a free moment or two, and critique it for me. Let me know where I might improve it. I would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks. I have no links as yet. It’s pretty new. John
Thanks so much, John. I sent you a message through AQC yesterday. I think you’ve gotten off to a great start!
BRAVO ZULU, Susan.
All the best with Boundary Street. Let me know when it hits the streets.(Might darken top on right menu (smile).
Your AQ nonfiction buddy.
Nancy (still plugging away on Navy submarine cookbook)
Thanks so much, Nancy! I really appreciate your support, as always!! I even used a line you gave me (“walking ten steps behind”) in the manuscript!
Hi!
The site is simple and beautiful! Good job.
Jean
Thanks so much, Jean! I owe you an e-mail. It’s been too long!
How cool is this, Susan?!?
Thanks, Van! I was so excited to find that photo of my mom. I think she should use it for her FB profile picture!
Looks awesome!!!!!!!!! Congratulations!
Thanks so much, Jacquie! I hope to see you soon!
