It’s December, so that time of year when literary lists come out in full force. Many publications post their favorite books of the year by genre or in general. I just realized I made a 2017 list, but way back on January 1st this year. Writer’s Digest listed their 81 reasons to read their Guide to Literary Agents Blog.
And then they listed 80 authors that became published thanks to the blog. I found my literary agent, Carrie Pestritto, through the blog back in 2012 and the rest is history.
I won’t list all 80, but was super excited to be on the list and named so close to the top, amongst such stellar authors like Veronica Roth and Sabaa Tahir.
2017 was a wonderful year for publishing, both as an author and a reader. I can’t wait to see what 2018 will bring!
