It’s hard to believe a month ago, I was standing in Monet’s beautiful gardens behind the house and studio where he lived and created his greatest work. The building in the background was his house and studio. From the street outside the house, it’s almost impossible to tell what rests beyond it. But even for we tourists who planned to visit the gardens, it was still a great surprise to see how vast and vibrant they still are after all these years.
