Flags of NYU

May 3, 2017 By Susan Blumberg-Kason Leave a Comment

In my town, folks hang out flags from their alma mater, especially during football season. The Big Ten (we are in the Midwest, after all) and some southern universities are popular ones. But earlier this year, I noticed an NYU flag down the street. My curiosity was peaked, of course, because my oldest son is a freshman there. And it made me think of the NYU campus itself, city buildings marked with NYU flags.

Since NYU doesn’t have a campus, students can find their classrooms from the purple and white flags in front of NYU buildings.

And speaking of NYU, Kevin Kwan’s latest novel, Rich People Problems, comes out May 23rd! It’s just as splendid as his first two and features NYU professors Rachel and Nick!
