I am so excited to feature Leza Lowitz this month. She’s the author of a dozen and a half books, but her heart-wrenching memoir, Here Comes the Sun: A Journey to Adoption in 8 Chakras (Stone Bridge Press, 2015) that just came out on June 30th.

Leza’s memoir tells the story of how she and her husband, Shogo, adopted their son in Japan. It’s not only difficult to adopt a child there, but it’s also not always socially acceptable. Here Comes the Sun is also the story of how Leza moved to Japan, fell in love with a Japanese man, and started a yoga studio in Tokyo.

And as if that’s not enough, she’s working on two young adult novels, the first of which is to be published next year by Crown.
