Seafood in Sai Kung

February 16, 2015 By Susan Blumberg-Kason Leave a Comment

Sai Kung is a quiet district in Hong Kong known for its fresh seafood restaurants. And by fresh, I mean picking out one’s dinner while it’s still swimming. Although I lived a quick bus ride from Sai Kung, I only have one memory of eating at a waterfront restaurant with a couple of friends.

My parents made the most of their trips to Hong Kong when they visited me, and I recently found these photos from a lunch they ate in Sai Kung while I was at work.

Here’s my dad selecting lobster or some other type of shellfish.

And my mom doing the same.

It’s so peaceful in Sai Kung.
