Introducing Fused Society

January 7, 2015 By Susan Blumberg-Kason Leave a Comment

Fused Society

I am so excited to introduce on my website a new publication! Created by Eva Cohen and Mai Huynh, Fused Society showcases “essays, creative writing and art by awesome, unique individuals from around the globe whose parents/grandparents came from different parts of the world.”

And I’m super excited because my son Jake, featured in Good Chinese Wife, will have an essay in this introductory issue about his cultural identity as a Chinese Jewish American. Congratulations, Jake!

Fused Society will have both an online and print format. And to raise funds for the print edition, it has just launched a Go Fund Me campaign on this link. For the different levels of contributions, you can receive not only a pre-order of the first issue with Jake’s essay, but different items of swag! Magnets, pens, and notepads with the Fused logo.

The first issue is scheduled to be out in print next month. Thank you so much for your support!
