It’s been an exciting few days! On Friday I received my ten advance review copies (ARCs), which are the uncorrected proofs of GOOD CHINESE WIFE! It was amazing to see it in a book format. Here’s the cover:
I already knew what the front cover looked like, apart from the treatment of the new subtitle, which I totally love (both the subtitle and how it fits on the cover). But it was the back cover that was a surprise. And when I saw it, I knew it was perfect!
I started reading the ARC on Friday evening and finished today, Monday morning. During this time, I also took my kids to a 3 hour musical, a Purim carnival, and driver’s ed (for number one son).
Plus on Saturday night I received the 2nd pages, or final PDF of GOOD CHINESE WIFE, to proofread before the actual book goes to print. So I’ve been working on that every night since Saturday.
I have until the 28th of this month to finish proofreading this PDF and am about 1/3 finished now. This week I’ll also talk to my editor about sending the ARCs to other authors for blurbs. I’m super excited about that, too!
