I thought I’d be a proud mama tonight and show a photo of the quilt my 13 year-old just completed for a class in school.
It seems like ages ago when I trekked out in the cold and snow to buy his fabric and sewing accoutrements.
The final product is quite nice, eh?
All I can say is WOW!!!!!
Unique! It’s very beautiful!
Very nice – great workmanship and inspired fabric choices!
These days when I read about young men and needles, it’s usually because they’re jamming them in veins… so it’s nice to see something completely different!
Keep up the good work.
I chose the fabric. I figured if I was going out alone in the cold and ice back in January, I was going to decide what to buy!
I sort of figured as much… perks of being the provider!
Exactly!! Because if he didn’t want the quilt, I knew I would!
As it turns out, he does like it. Right now it’s turning warm here, so we’ll probably put it away until the winter unless our air conditioning suddenly starts reaching the second floor (first floor in Commonwealth countries).
Wow! It looks BEAUTIFUL!
Thank you!! It’s even nicer in person!!
