A quiet summer morning in London, 1967

This is another slide from Britain during the summer of 1967.

It seems so quaint and peaceful.

I just love the old vehicles: cars, cabs, double-decker buses, and that handsome Austin lorry.  And from the angle this slide was taken, I assume my mom was sitting at the back of a double-decker bus when she snapped this shot.

Because I’ve only visited London once, and that was for several days four years ago, I’m not savvy enough to recognize specific streets. If anyone has an idea of where this may have been taken, I’d love to hear it.

    It’s Harwood Road, Fulham, London.
    Looking north towards Fulham Broadway.
